So much for a coconut fan. I like taking pictures of coconuts. You know why? Its because coconuts for me resembles high dreams and pride. The Coconut is dubbed as the “Tree of Life” simply because it is very useful to us from its roots to its leaves. Coconuts grow abundantly in the Philippines especially in the rural ares. It is also a main product in the country especially in the provinces. We export these coconuts to the world market for extra income for the economy.

Man, its been a while since my last post here in my blog. Well i know you guys are clamoring for more pictures (in my dreams, ahhahaha). My post today is about the ship I saw when I went to the pier area.

For 14 years it was my first time to see a ship upclose. I was amazed of the size of the water vessel. Before I only see those ships eevrytime I pass by the pier area or if I’m in San juanico Bridge. You’ll see those ships passing under the bridge. I was amazed so I took a picture of it.

Win or lose at least its over? Am I right? After the cheer dance competition all of us prepared for our parade. We made 2 banners and a plain red flag to symbolize our title, the SOPHOMORE KNIGHTS. We walked down the city streets with a big grin on our faces. A grin that symbolizes pride and honor! Red for might, honor, and courage – that’s the symbol of the Sophomores. Sophomore rocks! Here are some scenes during the parade.

“For Honor!”

“Are you ready to march?”

“EDSA 3 -Tacloban Version”

“Bongga ka dai!”

“Ms. Digital World – Ms. Elmire Cornejo”

“how cute?”

“Hello?”

“Viva Basey!”

“We’re the knights of second year!”

“The back scene”

“Smile even its hot”

“Tired? Keep moving!”

“Democracy!”

That’s it. It was fun and enjoying. Like any other definition- Teamwork is like a parade, all of you have to walk to reach your destination”.

The City sleeps at 8:00

•October 5, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Tacloban City is the regional capital of Eastern Visayas region. Its the largest city in terms of economic activities in the region and one of the busiest. When the clock strikes at 8:00 pm you’ll see stores closing up and the streets starts to be silent. People will go to their respective homes and the roads will be free from traffic. And its time for the City to take a rest for tomorrow will be a busy day (as usual).

Start and End your day with a prayer

•October 5, 2008 • 1 Comment

We as Christians, believers of the Almighty One, it is our responsibility to pray often for all the bad and good things that comes to our day to day living. As we wake up in the morning give praise to the Lord and thank Him for giving you another day to enjoy and live life. Start your day with a prayer together with a smile and your ready to face a new day.

After the long and tiring day don’t forget thank God for all the good and bad things that happened to you that day. You know why? It is because these “good and bad” things that happened to you that day will serve as experiences. And these experiences will guide you to face minimal mistakes in the future.

“Don’t forget to pray the rosary”

“Light a candle, kneel down, bow your head, and pray”

Thank Him for giving you another chance to live. Don’t forget He is a jealous God! =)

All About Life

•October 4, 2008 • 1 Comment

Try to research about the definition of life in the web and you’ll see scientific explanations and definitions. Is life really all about Science? I don’t think so. It’s about you living and experiencing the risky world. You can’t find a mathematical equation to the question “What is Life?” cause obviously there’s none. You can answer it by yourself without solving it. Its a practical question which needs a practical answer. if you know how to appreciate the deep meaning of life then you can answer the question. Life is all about us and our experiences in this world.

Life is all about love.

Life is all about smiles and happiness.

Life is all about rest and sleep.

Life is all about friendship.

Life is all about teamwork

Life is all about dreaming to be in the Olympics.

Life is all about enjoying your gadgets.

Life is all about pictures.

For others life is unfair. Is it? No its not. Its just you thinking that everything is not in order or things are not there just the way you have planned it. Life maybe harsh sometimes but its a part of our day to day survival. If you fall, get up and say to yourself that you can do it. If others were able to do it why can’t you? Live life like its the end of the world the next day. Life is a limited opportunity and now that the opportunity is there grab it and cherish it for time is running quick.
